On Feb 1 I am off to L.A. again and then to Nashville and New York. I am getting together with Van Dyke Parks again in L.A. to continue orchestrations and sort out some other stuff. He is a wonderful man, so generous and I really do think he is a genius too.

In Nashville I will do some writing sessions and In New York I will meet a few music publicity people who are going to help me with my album. which is getting closer to being finished.

And I just got back from L.A. this morning after being upgraded to Business class- which was lovely and relaxing. I also got vouchers so I can fly United again in future! I met some great musicians when I was in L.A. and I was treated with great warmth and generosity. I will be going back there to work on some music ideas in future and I want to go to Nashville too next time!

I've got into the Top 50 in the Tooheys Uncharted competition. The prize is a spot on the Big Day Out 2010 and $25,000 to develop so no wonder 2,300 artists entered the competition!

I am off to L.A. for 3 weeks on Sunday til mid October for various musicl activites and some tourism too.
Then I have a couple of festival gigs, then I will be starting the internet gigs streamed here and maybe also on my facebook. Other people can also host the stream on your own blog/site etc. It is going to be great!
